Union Stars II were dismissed for 180 as Pacaltsdorp strengthened its grip on the competition with a 240-run victory.

The Harlequins Forces (110/7) spoiled the weekend for the Knysna Cavaliers (106 all out) with a three-wicket victory in a low-scoring match at the Military Sports Club in Oudtshoorn. For Harlequins, Clayton Manewille excelled with figures of 6/22.

At D’Almeida, thanks to an unbeaten century by the Garden Route Badgers’ wicketkeeper, Nathan Engelbrecht (100*; 121 balls, 4x6, 3x4), Sussex (249/9) remains at the top of the log with a 183-run victory against George (66 all out). Spin bowler Jesse Lewis (5/37) was the bowling hero for Sussex.
