Raw water sources are being sought in George and surrounds

Fieldwork in George, Uniondale and Haarlem

GEORGE NEWS - As part of George Municipality’s planning processes to investigate alternative raw water sources, as outlined by the 2024 Bulk Raw Water Resource Study, the Municipality is in the process of identifying potential groundwater sites.

Non-invasive and non-destructive fieldwork will commence in George, Uniondale and Haarlem.

The community is hereby informed that consulting engineers appointed by George Municipality may be conducting fieldwork in these towns and the surrounding areas.
