George teams drop in regionals

SOCCER NEWS - Fast Eleven FC is currently the lone star in the night sky as far as George's teams in the regional league are concerned.
They are challenging the league honours in their second season in elite football, boasting 13 points.
The other George teams in the regional league are, however, battling at this stage of the season.
After a poor start, the Lawaaikamp side Simunye FC is battling to get back their winning formula. They have lost all four of their opening fixtures and are sitting at the bottom of the log.
With only three points, Paris United is hanging on precariously after their fixture against Simunye was postponed last weekend.
The Nelson Mandela University team, Madibaz, is down in 15th position with five points after seven league games. The students lost both their games on the road - going down 2-0 against La liga and losing 2-1 against the Strikers.
