Garden Route Dam level at 43.48%

GEORGE NEWS -  The latest dam level update, supplied by George Municipality on 13 January:

Garden Route Dam Level

• Dam level: 43.48 % (Compared to 46.63% on 22 December)
• Rainfall: 7.5 mm (Measured from 6 - 12 January)

Haarlem Dam Level

• Dam level: 30,42 %
• Rainfall: 2 mm (Measured from 6 - 12 January)

The Level 2D water restrictions implemented currently can be found here.

The cooperation of all users of municipal water is essential and is greatly appreciated.

Households are limited to 10 kilolitres per month under Level 2D. Use above this limit will be billed at Level 3 Emergency Tariffs.

Small daily savings, shorter showers, fewer washes, using grey water, can make a big difference.
