FC Rebels soar to top position

KNYSNA NEWS - FC Rebels continued their impressive start to the 2026 Safa Eden Hollywoodbets Regional Men's League campaign with a commanding performance at Hornlee Stadium last Saturday.
Playing on home soil, the Knysna-based outfit secured two crucial victories.
The Rebels first stunned league leaders Fast Eleven with a convincing 3-0 victory, showcasing discipline, energy and clinical finishing.
Carrying the same momentum into their second fixture, the Hornlee boys produced a polished display to defeat struggling De Rust United 2-0, making it a perfect home weekend for the hosts.
With 13 points from seven matches, FC Rebels have recorded four wins, one draw and two defeats, scoring an impressive 17 goals so far.
The team's resurgence marks a significant turnaround from the 2025/26 season, where they narrowly avoided relegation after a difficult campaign.
Head coach Testony Sinclair credited the team's strong home form and passionate supporters for the positive start.
"The boys were brilliant on the field, and the fans played their role in big numbers. Home-ground advantage has been key for us this season," said Sinclair.
