Eden Elephants 5's League kicking off

OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The Eden Elephants 5s League is kicking off the 2026 hockey season from 6 to 27 February, every Friday at the De Jagers Sport Complex.

This fast-paced and fun competition is designed to build skills, confidence, and love for the game.

This event is hosted by Oudtshoorn Elephants Hockey Club and sponsored by Princess Hockey.

The League will take place over four weeks.

Game times

• Ages 6 to 12, 15:00 - 16:00
• Ages 13 to 18, 16:00 - 17:00

Team format

• Teams consist of seven players, with five players on the pitch and two rolling substitutes.

Finals day

• The Championship finals will take place at the end of the league, 1st vs 2nd, and the play-off finals, 3rd vs 4th.

Registration

• All players must register and pay via the Elephants Outdoor Hockey Club.
