Badgers women ready for Western Province

CRICEKT NEWS - The Garden Route Badgers women’s team will continue their quest for a place in the final of the Hollywoodbets Pro50 series when they take on the World Sports Betting Western Province at Newlands in Cape Town this weekend.

The Badgers are currently third on the Pro50 log and have an opportunity to play themselves into a place in the finals.

The Oudtshoorn-based team will go without Annerie Dercksen, who is on national duty, and Mieke de Ridder and Yolandi Potgieter, who are both injured.

This is an important weekend for Zintle Kula and her team. A positive start will be vital. The team will be focused as they will be in action for five consecutive weekends.

The Pro50 match takes place on Saturday and the Pro20 match on Sunday.
