Hoekwil Primary nets a new netball court

GEORGE NEWS - Hoekwil Primary sports a beautifully resurfaced netball court, thanks to the generous support of its community and sponsors.
The court now offers a safe, professional space for the children to play and grow in sport.
The school marked the court’s official opening on 15 May with a fun-filled afternoon of round-robin matches between their teams, teachers, parents serving on the school governing body and visiting schools, including Sedgefield Primary, Blanco, Herold, Stars Academy and Gracehill College.
Hoekwil would like to thank the sponsors and project team for making this dream a reality.
There are already plans under way to introduce pickleball to the court, too!
