Garden Route Padel opens 2026: Local players called to represent their town

BUSINESS NEWS - Padel players across the Garden Route are invited to step onto the court and represent their town in the Garden Route Padel Opens 2026 (GRPO) — a regional competition designed to showcase local talent and crown one ultimate champion.
With qualifiers hosted at padel clubs throughout the region, players will compete for a coveted place in the GRPO Finals, taking place on 14 March at Virgin Active Padel Club in George.
From Knysna to Mossel Bay, each town brings its own energy, rivalry and pride to the court.
Qualifier rounds kick off in early February, with events scheduled at:
- 7 February – Liv Padel Knysna supported by Deep Heat
- 8 February – Africa Padel Plettenberg Bay supported by Seeff
- 21 February – Oudtshoorn Padel Supported by Henque Waste
- 28 February – Garden Route Padel George supported by Regus George
- 7 March – Mossel Bay Padel supported by Rauch Gertenbach
